The Liberty Panthers basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Kirbyville Wildcats to 30 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tarkington for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 7. Liberty will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 84-75 non-league loss to Grapeland (Grapeland, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 6-4.
