December 4, 2021: Lawrence, KS 66046 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lawrence Lions (Lawrence, KS) and the visiting Manhattan Indians (Manhattan, KS), saw Lawrence's basketball squad overcome Manhattan by a tally of 65-55.
With the victory, Lawrence improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Olathe West (Olathe, KS) to confront the Owls in a Sunflower challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Indians confront the Hayden Wildcats (Topeka, KS) in a Centennial challenge, on Friday, December 10. Manhattan will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
