Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Riesel Indians (Riesel, TX) and the visiting Meridian Yellowjackets (Meridian, TX), saw Riesel's basketball squad overcome Meridian by a tally of 59-39.

With the victory, Riesel improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Centerville (Centerville, TX) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 7. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Itasca Wampus Cats (Itasca, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 4. Meridian will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record.
