The Irion County Hornets basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Grady Wildcats to 34 in the Hornets non-league victory on Saturday.

The Hornets now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Miles for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 7. Irion County will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 42-30 non-league loss to Christoval (Christoval, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-6.

The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Buena Vista (Imperial, TX). The Longhorns come into the non-league contest with a 7-4 record.
