December 4, 2021: Phoenix, OR 97535 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Phoenix Pirates (Phoenix, OR) and the visiting St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR), saw Phoenix's basketball squad overcome St. Mary's by a tally of 44-29.
With the victory, Phoenix improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Pirates host Yreka (Yreka, CA) to confront the Miners in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 7. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Yreka won 49-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Etna (Etna, CA)
Next up, the Crusaders confront the Sutherlin Bulldogs (Sutherlin, OR) in a 3A Far West challenge, on Wednesday, January 26. St. Mary's will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
