New Mexico High School Basketball - Sandia nips Los Lunas

Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM), 45-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sandia upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Matadors travel to Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 8. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Atrisco Heritage Academy won 66-15 in their recent non-league bout against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM)

Next up, the Tigers play the Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 7. Los Lunas will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
