Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Greensburg Central Catholic crushes Ligonier Valley
December 4, 2023: Ligonier, PA 15658 Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions (Greensburg, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ligonier Valley Rams (Ligonier, PA), 82-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Greensburg Central Catholic upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Centurions host Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 6. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Seton LaSalle lost 72-71 in their recent non-league bout against Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA)
Next up, the Rams clash with the Southmoreland Scotties (Alverton, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Ligonier Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Scotties go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 60-28 non-league win over Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA).
