Mississippi High School Basketball - Hickory Flat knocked off by Magnolia Heights
December 4, 2023: Hickory Flat, MS 38633 The Magnolia Heights Chiefs basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Hickory Flat Rebels to 57 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Monday.
The Chiefs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Delta Streets Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Magnolia Heights will meet a Lions team coming off a 47-32 non-league loss to Pillow Academy (Greenwood, MS). The Lions record now stands at 3-5.
The Rebels (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ashland (Ashland, MS). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Ashland was defeated by West Union (Myrtle, MS), 88-53, in a non-league contest.
