The Southwest Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Killian Cougars to 41 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Miami for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Southwest will battle a Cobras team coming off a 63-56 non-league loss to Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) (Miami, FL). The Cobras record now stands at 1-3.

The Cougars (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Edison (Miami, FL). The Red Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Edison was defeated by Jackson (Miami, FL), 73-17, in a non-league contest.
