Louisiana High School Basketball - L.W. Higgins ripped by Reed
December 4, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70129 The Reed Olympians basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting L.W. Higgins Hurricanes to 28 in the Olympians non-league triumph on Monday.
The Olympians now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pearl River for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Reed will battle a Rebels team coming off a 59-47 non-league win over Thrive Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 5-1.
The Hurricanes (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sarah T. Reed (New Orleans, LA). The Olympians enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Sarah T. Reed was routed by Moss Point (Moss Point, MS), 50-44, in a non-league contest.
