December 4, 2023: Searcy, AR 72143 The Cedar Ridge Timberwolves basketball team (Newark, AR), was overwhelmed 62-29 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Searcy Lions (Searcy, AR)
The Lions now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sylvan Hills for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. Searcy will battle a Bears team coming off a 50-30 non-league loss to Benton (Benton, AR). The Bears record now stands at 1-3.
The Timberwolves (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Quitman (Quitman, AR). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Region 2 battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Quitman trounced Dardanelle (Dardanelle, AR), 56-52, in a non-league battle.
