Kansas High School Basketball - Wellington knocked off by Cheney
December 4, 2023: Cheney, KS 67025 The Cheney Cardinals basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Wellington Crusaders to 45 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cardinals now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pratt for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Cheney will battle a Greenbacks team coming off a 0-0 non-league Cheney (Cheney, KS). The Greenbacks record now stands at 1-0.
The Crusaders (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Rose Hill (Rose Hill, KS). The Rockets enter the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail IV contest with a 0-2 record.
