With the victory, Luverne upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Jackson County Central (Jackson, MN) to play the Huskies in a AA Section 3 challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 2-0.

The Rebels come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 64-26 league win over Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda (Okabena, MN).
