Virginia High School Basketball - Grayson County crushes Holston
December 4, 2023: Damascus, VA 24236 Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA), 52-15 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Grayson County upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Blue Devils host Alleghany (Sparta, NC) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Alleghany lost 41-27 in their recent non-league bout against Surry Central (Dobson, NC)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Rye Cove Eagles (Clinchport, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Holston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 43-29 non-league win over Richlands (Richlands, VA).
