December 4, 2023: Parkland, FL 33076 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Stoneman Douglas Eagles (Parkland, FL) and the visiting Monarch Knights (Coconut Creek, FL), saw Stoneman Douglas's basketball squad wallop Monarch by a count of 61-20.
With the victory, Stoneman Douglas upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Flanagan (Pembroke Pines, FL) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 6. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Flanagan lost 59-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Western (Davie, FL)
Next up, the Knights play the Deerfield Beach Bucks (Deerfield Beach, FL) in a 7A District 13 challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Monarch will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bucks come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 60-41 non-league win over Piper (Sunrise, FL).
