December 4, 2023: Burke, VA 22015 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) and the host Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA), saw George C. Marshall's basketball squad wallop Lake Braddock by a tally of 39-16.
With the victory, George C. Marshall improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Statesmen travel to James Madison (Vienna, VA) to confront the Warhawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Warhawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Bruins confront the Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Lake Braddock will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 43-0 non-league loss to Centreville (Clifton, VA).
