Virginia High School Basketball - George C. Marshall tops Lake Braddock
December 4, 2023: Burke, VA 22015 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) and the host Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA), saw George C. Marshall's basketball squad knock off Lake Braddock by a count of 35-24.
With the victory, George C. Marshall upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Statesmen host James Madison (Vienna, VA) to play the Warhawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Warhawks come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Bruins play the Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Lake Braddock will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
