Mississippi High School Soccer - St. Andrew's Episcopal knocks off Yazoo County
December 4, 2023: Yazoo City, MS 39194 St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints (Ridgeland, MS) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Yazoo County Panthers (Yazoo City, MS), 9-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Saints confront the Pisgah Dragons (Sandhill, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. St. Andrew's Episcopal will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over McLaurin (Florence, MS).
The Panthers now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Philadelphia for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. Yazoo County will confront a Tornadoes team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Murrah (Jackson, MS). The Tornadoes record now stands at 1-5.
