The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Mission Viejo Diablos (Mission Viejo, CA) and the visiting Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA), observed Mission Viejo's basketball team edge Birmingham by a score of 48-42.

The Diablos (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA). The Sea Kings come into the non-league challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Corona del Mar edged Irvine (Irvine, CA), 57-56, in a non-league challenge.
