December 4, 2024: DeKalb, IL 60115 The Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) basketball edged the host DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL), 56-51 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Hilltoppers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hinsdale Central for a West Suburban - Silver bout on Friday, December 6. Glenbard West will play a Red Devils team coming off a 79-76 non-league loss to Guilford (Rockford, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, DeKalb falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Barbs host Naperville North (Naperville, IL) to play the Huskies in a DuPage Valley bout on Friday, December 6. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Naperville North won 42-36 in their recent non-league bout against Highland Park (Highland Park, IL)
