The Desert Edge Scorpions basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Fairfax Stampede to 49 in the Scorpions non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Scorpions now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host North Canyon for a 5A Desert West game on Tuesday, December 10. Desert Edge will play a Rattlers team coming off a 93-34 league loss to Canyon View (Waddell, AZ). The Rattlers record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Fairfax falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Stampede travel to Central (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Bobcats in a 5A Metro game on Friday, December 6. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 6-1. Central won 53-52 in their recent non-league game against Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ)
