The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Hopewell Blue Devils (Hopewell, VA) and the visiting Thomas Jefferson Vikings (Richmond, VA), observed Hopewell's basketball team overwhelm Thomas Jefferson by a score of 85-57.

The Blue Devils (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA). The Generals come into the Central challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Dinwiddie trounced Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA), 56-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 6.
