December 4, 2024: Everson, WA 98247 Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Sultan Turks (Sultan, WA), 40-33 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Nooksack Valley advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Pioneers host Granite Falls (Granite Falls, WA) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 0-2. Granite Falls lost 67-45 in their recent non-league match against La Conner (LaConner, WA)
The Turks now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Squalicum for a non-league match on Thursday, December 5.
