Illinois High School Basketball - Yorkville holds off Plano
December 4, 2024: Plano, IL 60545 The Yorkville Foxes basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Plano Reapers to 48 in the Foxes non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Foxes now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Minooka for a SouthWest Prairie game on Friday, December 6. Yorkville will confront a Indians team coming off a 49-32 league loss to Oswego East (Oswego, IL). The Indians record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Plano falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Reapers travel to Sandwich (Sandwich, IL) to confront the Indians in a Kishwaukee River game on Tuesday, December 10. The Indians go into the game with a record of 1-3. Sandwich lost 78-34 in their recent non-league game against Kaneland (Maple Park, IL)
