Louisiana High School Basketball - Southside nips Bunkie
December 4, 2024: Youngsville, LA In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Southside Sharks basketball team scored a close 50-46 triumph over the Bunkie Panthers.
The Sharks (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, St. Thomas More was tipped by Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA), 35-32, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 5. Bunkie will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 46-33 non-league win over Kinder (Kinder, LA).
