In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Canton Central Catholic Crusaders basketball team scored a close 62-60 win over the Field Falcons.

The Crusaders (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Smithville (Smithville, OH). The Smithies come into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Smithville edged Dalton (Dalton, OH), 41-30, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Norton Panthers (Norton, OH) in a Metro contest, on Friday, December 6. Field will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 51-49 non-league loss to Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH).
