December 4, 2024: Mathews, VA 23109 Westmoreland Eagles (Montross, VA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Mathews Blue Devils (Mathews, VA), 22-20 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Westmoreland advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, December 6. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 1-1. Courtland won 26-24 in their recent non-league match against Mountain View (Stafford, VA)
