Illinois High School Basketball - Lanphier holds off Jersey
December 4, 2024: Jerseyville, IL 62052 The Lanphier Lions basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Jersey Panthers to 44 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lions now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to MacArthur for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10.
With the loss, Jersey falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-0. Civic Memorial won 62-15 in their recent non-league game against East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL)
