California High School Basketball - University holds off Menlo-Atherton
December 4, 2024: Atherton, CA 94027 The University Red Devils basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Menlo-Atherton Bears to 58 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Red Devils now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Ignatius College Preparatory for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. University will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 78-35 non-league win over Christian Brothers (Sacramento, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Menlo-Atherton falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bears host Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA) to confront the Gators in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 11. The Gators go into the game with a record of 1-0. Sacred Heart Prep won 41-37 in their recent non-league game against University (San Francisco, CA)
