The John Paul II Guardians basketball squad scored 65 points and restricted the host Eastside Early College Panthers to 27 in the Guardians non-league win on Thursday.

Next, the Guardians clash with the Northeast Early College Raiders (Austin, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 5. John Paul II will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 68-55 non-league win over Navarro (Austin, TX).

With the loss, Eastside Early College falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Lake Belton (Temple, TX) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 9.
