Edison Golden Bears (San Antonio, TX) supporters went home pleased Thursday as they observed their basketball team overcome the visiting Greenwood Rangers (Midland, TX), 53-44 in a non-league contest.

The Golden Bears (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against East View (Georgetown, TX). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, East View defeated Faith Academy (Marble Falls, TX), 68-50, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rangers face the Marble Falls Mustangs (Marble Falls, TX) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 4. Greenwood will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 2-6 record after their 41-40 non-league loss to Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX).
