Iowa High School Basketball - English Valleys triumphant over Highland
December 4, 2025: North English, IA 52316 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the English Valleys Bears (North English, IA) and the visiting Highland Huskies (Riverside, IA), observed English Valleys's basketball team overwhelm Highland by a score of 85-62.
The Bears (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA). The Bears enter the South Iowa Cedar battle with a 0-0 record.
The Huskies now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winfield-Mt. Union for a SEI - North battle on Friday, December 12.
