Texas High School Basketball - Gilmer triumphant over Harmony
December 4, 2025: Big Sandy, TX 75755 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX) and the host Harmony Eagles (Big Sandy, TX), observed Gilmer's basketball team overwhelm Harmony by a score of 55-23.
The Buckeyes (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Brownsboro (Brownsboro, TX). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Brownsboro walloped Sabine (Gladewater, TX), 68-67, in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 6. Harmony will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 71-65 non-league win over Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-1.
