The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Brook Bruins (Beaumont, TX) and the host Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns (Hamshire, TX), observed West Brook's basketball team overwhelm Hamshire-Fannett by a count of 78-44.

With the victory, West Brook advances its record to 7-0 on the year. The Bruins travel to Kashmere (Houston, TX) to meet the Fighting Rams in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 4. The Fighting Rams enter the battle with a record of 1-2.

The Longhorns now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to White for a non-league battle on Friday, December 5. Hamshire-Fannett will meet a Longhorns squad coming off a 63-55 non-league win over North Garland (Garland, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 7-3.
