Heights Falcons (Wichita, KS) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Maize Eagles (Maize, KS), 65-55 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Heights advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Falcons host North (Wichita, KS) to meet the RedHawks in a Greater Wichita City match on Friday, December 5. The RedHawks come into the contest with a record of 0-1. North lost 79-32 in their recent non-league contest against Emporia (Emporia, KS)

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Hutchinson Salthawks (Hutchinson, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail I contest, on Tuesday, December 9. Maize will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Salthawks come into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 57-53 non-league loss to Andover Central (Andover, KS).
