The Vestaburg Wolverines basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Merrill Vandals to 22 in the Wolverines league triumph on Thursday.

The Wolverines now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Montcalm for a non-league outing on Monday, December 8. Vestaburg will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 65-38 non-league win over Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 2-0.

The Vandals (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Calvary Baptist Academy (Midland, MI). The Kings enter the non-league outing with a 2-1 record.
