The New Covenant Gryphons bounced the host Southwest Virginia Academy Conquerors basketball squad by a final score of 78-52 in Thursday's non-league game.

The Gryphons now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Liberty Christian for a non-league game on Saturday, December 6. New Covenant will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 65-58 non-league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Southwest Virginia Academy falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Conquerors travel to Harrisonburg HomeSchool (Harrisonburg, VA) to confront the Lightning in a non-league game on Saturday, December 6. The Lightning go into the game with a record of 2-0.
