In Thursday's non-league bout, the Upper Cumberland Rams (Cookeville, TN) basketball team edged the host Sequatchie County Indians (Dunlap, TN), by a tally of 43-39.

The Rams now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Rocket City for a Mid South HomeSchool bout on Saturday, December 6. Upper Cumberland will play a Falcons team coming off a 78-55 non-league win over Riverside Christian Academy (Fayetteville, TN). The Falcons record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Sequatchie County falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Van Buren County (Spencer, TN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, December 8. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Van Buren County lost 74-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN)
