The Southern Lee Cavaliers bounced the visiting Ascend Leadership Aviators basketball squad by a final score of 55-16 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the Cavaliers clash with the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) in a Carolina Pines 6A outing, on Friday, December 5. Southern Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Hawks enter the outing with a 2-2 record after their 44-4 non-league win over Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC).

With the loss, Ascend Leadership falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Aviators host Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC) to confront the Bears in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 10. The Bears go into the game with a record of 3-2.
