Centennial Golden Hawks (Bakersfield, CA) backers went home thrilled Thursday as they saw their basketball team tip the host Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA), 61-56 in a non-league contest.

The Golden Hawks (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Atwater (Atwater, CA). The Falcons go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Atwater nipped Fresno (Fresno, CA), 57-43, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors confront the Bakersfield Christian Eagles (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 5.
