Louisiana High School Basketball - New Iberia can't get by Teurlings Catholic
December 4, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70501 The New Iberia Yellowjackets basketball team (New Iberia, LA), was tipped 60-53 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA)
The Rebels (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Walker (Walker, LA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Walker edged Bourgeois (Gray, LA), 38-34, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Zachary Broncos (Zachary, LA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, December 6. New Iberia will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Broncos enter the battle with a 4-0 record after their 55-49 non-league win over Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA).
