In Thursday's non-league test, the Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA) basketball squad trounced the host Lincoln Lions (San Jose, CA), by a final score of 50-14.

Next, the 76ers clash with the Menlo School Knights (Atherton, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 6. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 30-25 non-league win over Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA).
