California High School Basketball - Mira Costa holds off South
December 4, 2025: Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Mira Costa Mustangs basketball team scored a close 47-45 triumph over the South Spartans.
The Mustangs (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Sea Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Redondo Union nipped Torrance (Torrance, CA), 56-28, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans confront the Mark Keppel Aztecs (Alhambra, CA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, December 6. South will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Aztecs enter the outing with a 5-1 record after their 45-16 non-league win over Canyon (Anaheim, CA).
