California High School Basketball - River Valley falls to Mt. Shasta
December 4, 2025: Mt. Shasta, CA 96067 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) and the visiting River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA), observed Mt. Shasta's basketball team overcome River Valley by a score of 31-17.
The Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wheatland (Wheatland, CA). The Pirates enter the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Wheatland notched a victory over Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA), 31-23, in a non-league match.
The Falcons now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamilton for a non-league match on Friday, December 5.
