Washington, DC High School Basketball - Coolidge fells Athens Christian
December 5, 2022: Washington, DC 20011 Coolidge Colts (Washington, DC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Athens Christian Eagles (Athens, GA), 71-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Coolidge upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Colts host DC International (Washington, DC) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 1-0. DC International won 65-59 in their recent non-league bout against Ballou (Washington, DC)
Next up, the Eagles play the Monsignor Donovan Catholic Rams (Athens, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Athens Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 69-52 non-league loss to Denmark (Alpharetta, GA).
