Texas High School Basketball - Northeast Early College falls to Austin
December 5, 2022: Austin, TX 78703 In Monday's non-league match, the host Austin Maroons basketball squad scored a nice 55-35 victory over the Northeast Early College Raiders.
With the victory, Austin improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Bowie (Austin, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge on Friday, December 9. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Bowie won 76-75 in their recent league challenge against Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX)
Next up, the Raiders play the LBJ Austin Jaguars (Austin, TX) in a 5A Region III District 24 challenge, on Friday, December 9. Northeast Early College will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 63-55 league loss to McCallum (Austin, TX).
