North Carolina High School Basketball - Carolina Friends tops St. Thomas More Academy
December 5, 2022: Raleigh, NC 27616 Carolina Friends Quakers (Durham, NC) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors (Raleigh, NC), 65-52 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Carolina Friends upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Quakers host Thales Academy Apex (Apex, NC) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 3-6. Thales Academy Apex lost 58-55 in their recent non-league bout against Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC)
Next up, the Chancellors play the American Leadership Academy-Johnston Patriots (Clayton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. St. Thomas More Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 54-47 non-league loss to Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC).
