December 5, 2022: Corinth, NY 12822 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Doane Stuart Thunder Chicken (Albany, NY) and the host Corinth Tomahawks (Corinth, NY), saw Doane Stuart's basketball squad overcome Corinth by a tally of 48-39.
With the victory, Doane Stuart improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Thunder Chicken travel to Hawthorne Valley (Ghent, NY) to confront the Wildcats in a Section 2 Central Hudson Valley challenge on Friday, December 16. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Hawthorne Valley won 65-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Dover (Dover Plains, NY)
Next up, the Tomahawks confront the Hadley Luzerne Eagles (Lake Luzerne, NY) in a Section 2 Adirondack challenge, on Wednesday, December 7. Corinth will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 60-44 non-league win over Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY).
