The Raiders now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Weir for a 4A District 6 battle on Wednesday, December 7. South Sumter will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 81-40 non-league loss to Downey Christian (Orlando, FL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-1.
The Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Foundation Academy (Winter Garden, FL). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Foundation Academy was toppled by Master's Academy (Oviedo, FL), 69-35, in a non-league battle.
