McAdory Yellowjackets (McCalla, AL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL), 62-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McAdory upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Helena (Helena, AL) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Helena lost 69-49 in their recent non-league bout against Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL)

Next up, the Patriots play the Oneonta Redskins (Oneonta, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. Homewood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
